President –
Col Arun Sahgal, G/34

A product of St. Columbus High school, Delhi, 34 course National Defence Academy  and the Indian Military Academy. Saw action in the '71 war on the Western front with his battalion, 4/8 GR. Served in High Altitude areas, in Counter Insurgency Ops and in aid to Civil authority. Held various staff, instructional and regimental appointments during his tenure in the army and finally took pre mature retirement from the army. In the civvy world, held appointments in various capacities which included touring Europe to reconnoitre setting up new and diverse projects. A stint with Jet Airways, as their general manager, North India, I brought about changes for the 'On time' flight schedules. Migrated to Australia in 2001 and worked with the Fremantle Council for 16 years. Arun is married with two daughters and four grand daughters and is now living in retirement at Perth.

Cdr Aruna Ranganathan, L/65

Lima 65. Commissioning Commanding officer of IL 38 SD Maritime Air Squadron in Russia 🇷🇺 in 2006. Moved to New Zealand 🇳🇿 in 2011. Spent 11 years in training pilots in New Zealand, UAE and Australia. Senior Lecturer in Central Queensland University.

Treasurer –
Brig Vivek Lall, SM, I/77

India 77. Commissioned in Infantry, served in various appointments including UN and did a course in USA. Commanded an Infantry Brigade and then took pre-mature retirement and moved to NZ, finally moved to Canberra a couple of years back.

Secretary –
Col Rajesh Kaswan, D/77

IC 49964Y, Col Rajesh Kaswan (Retd) was commissioned into 6th Bn The Sikh Light Infantry on 15th Dec 1990. Born on 2nd Jan 1969 at Babina, he is an alumnus of Birla Public School, Pilani (Class of 1986), National Defence Academy (Delta/77) and Indian Military Academy (Jessore/87). He is a 2nd generation infantry officer and hails from Sirsa, Haryana. During his career with the Indian Army, he served in Assam, Delhi, Poonch, Belgaum, Pathankot, Akhnoor, Wellington, Doda, DR Congo, Mhow, Mt Abu and Arunachal Pradesh. He commanded 1st Bn The Sikh Light Infantry between 2007-2009. After serving in various appointments for 20 years and 7 months, he took pre-mature retirement and migrated to Australia in 2011 along with his family comprising Mrs Sarika Kaswan and two daughters Ananya and Sharanya.
